Terms of Use and Terms of Sale

This is a working draft of the terms. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before sales launch.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated, and the goods are sold, by Asmeriel s.r.o. , with its registered office at Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha, Company ID (IČO): 19331550, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague (Městský soud v Praze), file no. C 384418 (hereinafter "we" or "the operator"). Contact:  info@asmeriel.com .

These terms govern purchases on the asmeriel.com website and the use of our services, including the Worldforge editor. By submitting an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Pre-order — What You Are Buying

On this website we offer a pre-order of the Asmeriel board game , i.e. a product that is still being made. We conclude with you a purchase contract with deferred delivery. You acknowledge that:

• the stated delivery date is an estimate, not a binding deadline — production of the game may be delayed and the date may change; we will inform you of any changes by e-mail,
• the game is in development — the photos, visuals, game mechanics, descriptions, feature lists and other information published on the website show the intended shape of the project; during development they may be changed, adjusted, replaced or dropped entirely where necessary for technical, production, design or economic reasons, and such changes do not by themselves constitute a defect of the product,
• there is a risk that, despite all our efforts, the project may not be completed — in that case, we will refund you the full amount paid.

3. Price and Payment

Prices are stated inclusive of VAT. Shipping is added to the price of the game based on the delivery country; you always see the total amount before completing the order. Payment is made in advance online via the secure Stripe payment gateway. Card details are processed exclusively by Stripe — we have no access to them.

The order is concluded at the moment of successful payment; we will send you a confirmation with your order number by e-mail.

4. Cancelling a Pre-order and Refunds

You may cancel your pre-order at any time before shipping begins, without giving a reason. Simply write to info@asmeriel.com from the e-mail address used for the order and state your order number. We will refund the full amount paid (including shipping) via the same payment method no later than 14 days after receiving your request.

Once shipping has begun, the pre-order can no longer be cancelled. This does not affect the consumer's statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods under Section 5 of these terms.

Before the game ships, we will ask you by e-mail to confirm your delivery address.

5. Withdrawal from the Contract and Claims

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods , without giving a reason. In that case, return the goods to us complete and, if possible, in the original packaging; you bear the cost of the return. We will refund you within 14 days of the withdrawal (but not before the goods have been returned).

The goods are covered by statutory liability for defects — you can file a claim within 2 years of receipt at info@asmeriel.com. We will settle the claim within 30 days at the latest.

6. Worldforge (Scenario Editor) and User Content

The Worldforge editor (scenario editor) is currently available only to selected users; public registration will be launched later. By using the editor, you agree that:

• for the content you create in the editor (scenarios, campaigns, texts, monster configurations, etc.), you grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, unlimited in time, territory and quantity , covering all forms of use, including the right to modify the content, combine it with other content, distribute it and grant sublicences; the operator is also entitled to use the content commercially (e.g. to make it available to other players),
• you must not upload content to the editor that violates the law or the rights of third parties (in particular copyright), or content that is hateful, pornographic, promotes violence or is otherwise inappropriate,
• the operator is entitled to remove any content without compensation and, in the event of a breach of the rules, to block the user account.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The legal relationship between us is governed by the law of the Czech Republic , in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act. Where these terms are available in multiple language versions, the Czech version is binding ; the other versions are translations provided for information only.

Out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is handled by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, adr.coi.cz ).

8. Final Provisions

We may reasonably amend these terms; orders already placed are governed by the version in effect at the time of the order. These terms are effective as of 15 July 2026.
